Standard Pistol match is one of the traditional pistol matches that includes elements of speed and precision. This competition unfolds in three stages, comprising a total of 60 shots, all executed with a rimfire (22LR) semi-automatic pistol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each series commences with the shooter’s arm at a 45-degree angle. The selected handgun for this event must have a barrel no longer than 150mm and a trigger no lighter than 1000 grams. Recoil handling becomes crucial, particularly in the fast 10-second series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally designed to provide a platform for shooters with commonly available 22LR sporting (semi-automatic) pistols like Ruger, S&W, Browning, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This match is a test for both seasoned marksmen and newcomers, the match demands concentration, as a momentary lapse during the faster series can impact the score significantly. The Standard Pistol match blends precision and rapid-fire<\/a> techniques, ensuring an an exciting competition for all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
